About Baldwin International Christian University

Baldwin International Christian University (BICU) is a liberal arts institution that transforms peoples’ lives through the process of education thus enabling them to experience a better quality of life. Not only does this institution enhance change on the micro level but it also fosters change on the macro level through economic, social, political and spiritual paradigm shifts in society. This it done through:

⮞ Its spiritual Christo-centric foundations

⮞ Its research-oriented approach to education

⮞ Its love for people above policies or things

⮞ Its unabashed prophetic confrontation to the negative dehumanizing forces in society

To this end, BICU fosters in its students an insatiable thirst for knowledge and a research-oriented posture within a Christ-centered matrix. BICU is non-denominational and multi-denominational, hence it welcomes students from all religious or non-religious persuasions. Persons from non-Christian backgrounds and religions are welcome to study with us as long as they are willing to respect the Christ-centered orientation of BICU, which promotes mutual respect and care for all.

For its initial roll-out, BICU currently offers programs in Religion, Religion & Politics, Psychology and professional development in the online and virtual formats. Our Religion & Politics degree is unique to BICU and geared to prepare individuals to function within the arena of governmental leadership in their societies with a solid understanding of the interrelationship between politics and religion. This is a distinctive competence of BICU. It must be observed, however, that BICU does NOT advocate partisan politics. Our programs in Religion are at the Master’s, Bachelor’s, Associate, and certificate levels.  All our programs are offered online in virtual and online formats.

The Baldwin’s Biblical Manuscript Research Institute & Bible Museum (BBMRI) is the first institute of this university. This facility offers education and research opportunities in the Greek and Hebrew manuscript history of the Biblical text. This facility, among other things, provides an in-depth knowledge of the science and art of how the Bible became a book.

BICU is in its initial growth stage, but resident in its DNA are the genes of a wide array of undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate degrees. The growth is now in progress to these ends, and you are invited to participate in this exciting journey. Remember, the real pleasure and satisfaction of the destination is in the journey. I welcome your prayers, financial support, and well-wishes.
